Overview
A fantasy-styled game using an online vehicle auction website as its foundation
Imagine, if you will, a garage that contains the vehicles of your dreams. From souped-up muscle cars to futuristic supercars. All of these, and more, are now accessible to you….at least virtually.
Fantasy-Style
Participants (collectors) either individually, or within a league, receive a weekly amount of virtual dollars that are used to purchase vehicles
New Items Every Week
The collectables available for purchase are based on real-life auction items available on real auction sites, with new items every week
Estimate the Final Price
When a vehicle is selected, players choose a final sale / high-bid estimate which is compared against the real-life value
Accuracy is Key
Based on a predetermined threshold, players will receive a bonus or penalty to the following week based on the accuracy of the estimate
The Data
Player Stats and Community
FCG will be a platform that encourages vehicle enthusiasts to show off their knowledge and estimation skills while encouraging some friendly competition. To encourage collaboration and community, FCG will collect and persist data about player garages, vehicles choices, and more while also inviting members of a league to vote on their favorite collectables each week. FCG members will be able to virtually visit other garages to see some of the amazing collections and have the opportunity for their garage to be highlighted as a league-winning garage.
